Leica M9-P Edition Hermes

I have always loved cameras and wanted to learn more about photography. I'm especially drawn to cameras with vintage design and modern functionality.

While reading the latest edition of Chicago Social magazine, a short feature on the Leica M9-P Hermès  camera caught my eye. Everything about this camera screams luxury. When brands such as Leica and Hermècollaborate one should expect nothing but quality, amazing design, and cutting edge technology.

Stunning isn't it???

*sigh* the packaging.

Leica only released 300 of the M9-P Hermès  and with a $25,000 price tag, I would love to know who the fortunate 300 were because I have some student loans they can take care of for me. Obviously they have money to spare...

I currently have my eye on the much more wallet friendly Nikon 1. Maybe I can buy a Hermès camera strap and pretend it's a Leica...

STATIAnery by Loren Statia

When was the last time you put pen to paper to write a letter? Wow, has it been that long? Perhaps my cute, custom made note cards from STATIAnery by Loren Statia will prompt you to get your own cards and write someone.

Loren has a ton of cute and colorful designs and if you are lucky to see her designs in person, she prints your order while you wait. That's right, 12 note cards with coordinating envelopes on thick, high quality card stock with the design of your choice - printed while you wait.

I got my cards last year in Atlanta while at a conference. Loren's booth displayed all the design options and there were plenty of paper samples. I was pleasantly surprised when Loren began printing my order on the spot. I'll see Loren in a couple of months at the same conference and I plan to order Thank You and Christmas cards. She also accepts orders via her website. Check out STATIAnery by Loren Statia
